Data Deletion Policy

1. Overview
At HoneyAI CRM, we respect your privacy and acknowledge your right to control your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy outlines how businesses and users can request deletion of account data, WhatsApp-connected data, and Meta Platform Data handled by HoneyAI CRM.
2. Right to Erasure
Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data. We will delete your data upon:
- Direct request from the user/business (Data Principal).
- Withdrawal of consent for data processing.
- The purpose for which the data was collected being fulfilled.
- Meta Platform requirements for app removal or user requests.
3. How to Request Data Deletion
You can initiate a data deletion request through the following methods:
Method 1: Account Dashboard
Contact your workspace owner or HoneyAI CRM support from your CRM account and request account or workspace data deletion.
Method 2: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@honeyaicrm.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Please include your registered business email and, if applicable, your WhatsApp Phone Number ID.
4. 48-Hour Notification Period
After receiving a valid deletion request, we will verify the requester's authority over the account or workspace and process the deletion within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, and audit requirements. We may contact you if we need additional information to verify or complete the request.
5. Data Retention & Logs
We retain account, messaging, webhook, and audit data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, protect the service, resolve disputes, and maintain reliable operations. When deletion is completed, we delete or de-identify user-identifiable data unless retention is required by law or for legitimate security and audit purposes.
6. Meta (Facebook/WhatsApp) Integration
If you wish to delete data received from Meta Platforms or WhatsApp Business, email us at privacy@honeyaicrm.com or remove HoneyAI CRM's access from your Meta Business settings and contact us with your business email and WhatsApp Phone Number ID. We will delete or de-identify associated connected-account data unless we are required to retain limited records by law, security, or audit obligations.
