2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information received from Meta/WhatsApp when you connect your WhatsApp Business Account, and information generated when you use the CRM. This may include:

  • Business name and contact information
  • WhatsApp Business Account identifiers, phone number IDs, sender status, templates, and webhook delivery status
  • WhatsApp Business API credentials stored server-side for connected business accounts
  • Catalog data and product information
  • Customer WhatsApp messages, phone numbers, conversation metadata, and routing status needed to operate the shared inbox

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, including:

  • Powering Honey AI Agents for automated customer responses
  • Synchronizing your inventory with WhatsApp catalogs
  • Managing your shared inbox and lead routing
  • Sending WhatsApp replies and approved message templates through the connected WhatsApp Business sender
  • Maintaining webhook, delivery, and audit records for reliability and abuse prevention
  • Complying with GST and Indian business regulations

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Communication with Meta and WhatsApp APIs uses encrypted transport, and access tokens and app secrets are stored server-side. We do not expose raw WhatsApp access tokens or app secrets in the browser.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell WhatsApp message data or Meta Platform Data. We use service providers only to operate HoneyAI CRM, including hosting, database, authentication, delivery, and Meta/WhatsApp API services. These providers process data on our behalf so we can provide the CRM.

6. WhatsApp and Meta Platform Data

Data received from Meta or WhatsApp is used only for the connected business's CRM workflows, including onboarding the sender, receiving customer messages, sending replies/templates, syncing templates, and tracking delivery or webhook health. We do not use WhatsApp customer data for unrelated advertising, surveillance, or resale.

7. Retention and Deletion

We retain account, messaging, and audit data while the business account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes. Businesses may request deletion of their account or connected WhatsApp data through our Data Deletion page or by contacting us.
